   According to Jehova’s witnesses ghosts are demons dressed up as people to fool you and demons are well the ones who do biding for the Devil. But in my opinion there isn’t a big connection because ghosts are people who once were and demons are the devil’s workers but they seem to both hang out in the dark because they are both associated with fright even though demons are more evil but some ghosts are evil too. So there are some similarities.

   Ghost are generally considered dead humans who have turned into incorporate beings (which might, or might not, interact with the world of the living). They are not necessarily evil, and in many mythologies, the ghosts of ancestors are protecting their descendants.

   Demons on the other hand, are generally considered inhabitants of the netherworld, and are always evil.

   The only connection there is between ghosts and demons are that they are supernatural, and somewhat connected to death.
