What is the difference between extranormal and paranormal? Or are they the same?

I ask this because I love watching anything paranormal such as The Othersiders on CN Real. Then I was watching this other show and it said something about the extranormal and it was the same happenings as the paranormal.

How come some Christians believe in ghosts and at the same time that they go to heaven or hell?

I saw last week on here a Christian saying she saw ghosts but I thought they didn’t believe somebody could come back as a ghost.
Maybe some Christians believe they’re ghosts for a while. I’m confused.
