When do you think people will stop believing in this bullsh*t?

I’ve given the finger to all the gods and nothing has happened to me. My friend’s grandma passed away in his house and he claimed he could see her ghost at night. He also claimed his grandpa had ghost eyes and could see ghosts. Well, I slept over at his house, and I slept in his basement alone and nothing happened to me.

Why is this?

On a related note, why don’t skeptics respect the positions of the believers? That is my experience.

Ever since I was little my parents told me that my brother and sister and I would always scream about their being ghosts in the basement. Well to this day I never go down there alone if I can help it. It creeps me out. My bf thought it was a big joke and went down to “investagate”. He was joking around to me but he was like trash talking to the ghosts. He was calling them names and stuff and laughing. Then he was like hey I heard if you write a message to them and leave a pad of papper here they might respond. So he wrote a letter bashing them and left. I was so scared that I ran back down to get the note and as I picked it up I got a chill down my spine and a box came crashing down right behind me. I ran up crying. I think he felt bad though cause atleast he apoligized but he was like ghosts arent real dont worry about it. Well I get a phone call from my little sis freaked out that she saw something downstairs and a shelf collasped as she ran
away. He was like well its an old house the shelf was old and it fell apart dont worry about anything. Do you think that ghosts are real? Then do you think its possible for a human to make them angry? Could they be trying to scare or hurt us? What should I do?
