Whenever a question is posted in the paranormal section all the answers of people who believe, get a lot of thumbs down, but the skeptics get a lot of thumbs up. Why is this?
On a related note, why don’t skeptics respect the positions of the believers? That is my experience.

I experienced a paranormal activity at my apartment lately and later found out about the recent meteor showers. I did not record the time of the activity but it happened the morning where the showers where at their peak.

What makes the current interest in the paranormal more main stream as other times when paranormal is popular. Other times it isn’t thougth of except for a few interested. What is different now?
